Hi,
I thought that I had my first "Naked Niches" webpage ready to go, but I have a small problem that I was hoping somebody could help me with.
I am using Nvu ( I am still learning how to use it ) and working from a template. The problem is that in the top two and bottom two corners there are what seem to be places for graphics. They show whether I am previewing in Nvu or if I just click on it from my website folder.
Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? _________________ Gary

Sorry about that. I'll try to clarify it.
I don't have it uploaded yet. It's still on my computer. When I open the file in Nvu or open it by clicking on it from inside the file that I have it stored in, it has the problem that I mentioned earlier.
Also, there are no graphics to be viewed, because I do not have graphics on the page. When I right click on those spaces, the choices available are for graphics. Could it have something to do with headers and footers?
I am using the Firefox browser, but that shouldn't matter should it? I hope that clears it up. Thanks for the help. _________________ Gary

Gary
It's difficult to answer without seeing the code or a url to a page on a website (I know you haven't got it there yet) but Janet is "pointing" you in the right direction.
If you can see little boxes with an X in them, then it would appear that the links to your images are either not pointing to the correct place OR the images themselves are just not there on your PC (I would think the location is the key).
Take a look at the code and see if you can see an instance(s) of what Janet showed <img src="http://www.yourwesite.com/images/filename.jpg"> and let us know exactly what it says - then that may help a little more.
Firefox isn't your problem. _________________ Kind Regards Jo Blythe - RAP Membership Bundle |
