Well, up to now I've had my inbox absolutely anihalated with exit Splash promotions.

I think everyone and his dog must be promoting it. No I'm not going to buy it - I already have a free script that does more or less the same thing anyway.

But can you imagine it now, click the red x to exit the page and a virtual smart agent will annoy you, then once told that to go away the blinking slide up belt is going to try and get you as well.

Sorry, but these things just remind me of those pesky promotional people who hang around in supermarkets trying to ruin your day with their latest offer, but what Madam, don't you want to save money! No, I want to do my shopping!

And further more, If I want to click that red cross to exit your page, I will, and nothing is going to stop me..........

Whoosh ! I feel better now......

I've got to agree!! Both as a marketer and a consumer - I detest being told to click this and click that to get out of things!!

I must admit, however that I once ran a similar script (FREE) to build a list and got a healthy number of opt-ins!!

On the fence . . . . .

Nah - I still won't buy and certainly wouldn't force it on my customers.
