|
|
Just bought Russell Brunson's 12 Month Internet Millionaire product.
And downloaded the 6 mp3 audios and the pdf transcript.
Haven't had chance to look through it yet.
It took me a while to download it because I had to go through two £297 upsells before I got to the download page. |

| Just about to buy it - is it a cheap version of the '12 month millionaire' book that was out last year? |

12 month millionaire? Whoops.
This may interest you - from elsewhere on the net..
"Have you ever heard of Vince James? He wrote the book 12 Month Millionaire.
Now read very carefully. He sells this book for about $300 dollars. He claims you can become a millionaire after reading his book in 12 months.
I bought the book. It's good but not worth $300 dollars. I did some research on him. His real name is Vincent James Passifume. He was convicted for fraud, and false advertising.
He was making about 2 million dollars a month. In his book he claims, that all his money was made from selling vitamins. The real truth is, he was selling pills that were for penis enlargement. Actually, the pills were herbs, that he bought from a vitamin wholesaler for $2.00 and sold for $60.00.
He knew that these pills would never do as he claimed. He also knew that he could sell 3 to 6 months worth to a customer before they would discover nothing happened. He came up with a program to charge and ship the customer every month, no matter if the customer ordered them or not.
He made millions. Until he was finally arrested. He says the reason why he lost all of his money is because the people who worked for him was jealous of all his success. And, that may be true.
The real reason was he continued charging credit cards to customers who asked to be removed. So they contacted the Attorney General of Arizona. He was shut down. Also he was banned from the state selling anything by direct marketing.
He had partners who were family. His aunt and cousin. He's not from Arizona. Instead from New Jersey. Now living in Las Vegas.
What's in his book can be learned from the late Gary Halbert for free. He has licensed his book to many direct marketers. Who now sell his book on the Internet. And, will defend him to the death. What does Vince James do?
He does nothing but makes a lot of money while others do his work. He's a smart guy, but a crook. He cares nothing about you. All he wants is money."
I did some further research. He asked the court to let him sell a 'new' manuscript. The court turned him down. There is a 5 year ban on him conducting mail-order business of any kind and on anyone else working with him to do so. That ban is still in force.
I wouldn't trust this chap with 297 pence - let alone £297 _________________ Phil the Bear

I've done the homework. Whenever a 'mass guru' product hits the air I am as sceptical as hell. Sometimes there's nothing to find and sometimes there is.
You should see the file I created about the Amway MLM organisation and its founders....

I wonder what they would say if they knew.

If I get 1 more email about 12MM....
I just noticed that Mike Filsaime is giving away a 3 hour phone call with him and Russel.....and they will give you the mp3, pdf transcripts, and resale rights to the call....for a $37 product...now I think the #1 affiliate gets a Hummer....but is it fair that Russel would be helping and affiliate.... |

OK then. Here we go.
First off I've only listened to 2 of the audios (out of 6 and not read the pdf transcription yet but I've enjoyed listening to them.
The audios are very much about how the interviewee - Mr 10 million dollars - made his money. Unless it changes in the later audios there's not much to do with Internet Marketing. It's very much about how he got started in direct mail - dealing with car stereos, dropshipping, vitamin supplements etc.
That said I put it on when I'm working, in the background and enjopy listening to it. I find it motivational, but as for learning anything about IM - not at all.
There's a tendancy in other forums not to give honest reviews because people are scared of upsetting people.
Here's a warrior forum post that DID get through though:
http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=190732
Makes for interesting reading. A lot of people posting what they think others WANT to hear though.
In my view, and taking into consideration the double upsell of $297 products, I think this could easily have been a freebie. Of course it wouldn't make sense for him to do that because he must have made quite a profit from it.
I bought it and thought it was worth it for ME - which is the only real yardstick to use. For anyone wanting to learn about IM and develop their own business, I'm not too sure. |

I've just had an email from Russell. I quote:
"Over the past 7 days, my affiliates have done some amazing stuff.
For example, they just sold well over 9,000 copies of our new
product on clickbank"
Now, stop me where I'm wrong.
9000 sales out of all the affiliates that he roped in? Doesn't seem that good to me.
And at $37 a pop - oh, less the 50% or whatever affiliate commission (I did know but I've forgotten) - that would be $166,500 that he made. And I guess he had to split that with Vince the Conman on a 50-50 basis. So he took $83,250. And that's for probably the biggest affiliate bun fight this year.
Whoops, I forgot that he also gave away a Hummer - however much they are.
To be fair, that's not a bad amount of money for a couple of weeks worth of bullshit marketing. But it strikes me as much, much smaller than I expected him to make.
Anyone else have a view? _________________ Phil the Bear

I did lose the will to live over this 'offer' but I found the appropriate thing and you are quite right. I could have made 75% on each one.
So - after affiliate payouts he gets $83,250. If he went 50-50 with Vince he'd get $41,625. Less the price of a Hummer.
Even worse than I thought. Didn't the guy learn anything from those tapes? He's supposed to be able to make hundreds of millions of dollars! And he only made $40,000 less a Hummer. And the cheapest one of those is $29,000 (see: http://www.carprices.com/research/make/hummer.html).
Look - this guy is in trouble. Even the Warrior Forum is p*ssing all over him. How about a whip round? _________________ Phil the Bear
